Summers in Dubai can be unbearable because of the heat. It can be far too dangerous to workout outdoors during the hot summer days. Fortunately, there are some opportunities to continue your fitness program, enjoy your favorite sport or just keep up with your normal workouts using an indoor facility. Dubai Sports World has something for everyone who wants to stay in shape even during the hottest months of the year.


1 Types of Activities at Dubai Sports World

Name a sport you like to play and you’ll find it at DSW. There is nothing more satisfying to those of us who truly enjoy working out, running or playing sports than to be able to do our favorite activities inside during the heat of summer. Here is a chart demonstrating how this dynamic sports center is designed to accommodate varied interests.

2 Special Summer Activities

Since summers are too hot to do activities outdoors, Dubai Sports World offers a variety of activities hosted through summer camps. There are several different types of activities including:

  • Football Academy
  • Tennis Academy
  • Extreme Sports
  • Basketball Academy
  • Cricket Academy

These summer camps are designed to help children aged 4 to 14 improve their health through playing sports and a variety of activities. I simply signed my child up for the number of sessions I wanted them to attend and in the academies that are going to help enhance their skills, keep them healthy and provide adequate social interaction.


3 Other Facilities

One of the benefits I found at Dubai Sports World was that there is a large, covered car park available. It can accommodate up to 1385 vehicles. Even though the paid parking is reasonably priced, there is also plenty of free parking available too.

Athletes know how hungry we can get after working out. Thanks to several different eating establishments inside the center, there’s no need to leave to refill. There are several different types of eating facilities with a food type to please anyone.

Dubai Sports World has worked hard to provide a safe environment while we are playing sports or working out safe from the burning heat. But occasionally, there are injuries or situations that require medical care. For the convenience of those of us who use the facility there is a medical plaza. The medical facility is staffed with certified medical team members who are qualified to provide emergency care or treat different medical conditions. They are also able to transport to the hospital in case there is a need. These medical professionals are certified to deal with a variety of health needs from minor first aid treatments to emergency trauma.


4 Rates, Fees and Reservations

I felt like the rates charged for access to the sports facility were more than reasonable. Rugby, football, tennis, basketball, volleyball and cricket can all be hired by the hour. The skate park is accessible for a daily pass or a summer pass. Wire world has daily hire rates or per person per session fees. There are also four activities that are available for free: table tennis, running track, badminton and the gym. The Against Graviti facility is hired by the hour.
