7 Emirates Run


Enhancing the unity of the seven emirates by completing an ultra marathon that touches and crosses each of the 7 emirates of the UAE.

Varies according to category: AED 77 (10km), AED 177 (full day), AED 777 (relay team), AED 1,777 (575km full course)

What is the event for?

"7EmiratesRun in partnership with Al Jalila Foundation is a community and charity sports event with the mission Run for Help. Run for Health. Run for Fun."

Who is the event for?

"No other mode of transportation will be used other than your own two feet. So a good level of fitness in needed.

It is gauged that the longest day will be around 9hrs on the feet (56km); but this is the limit for any day during the Run.
There are no rest days; running will take place on consecutive days."

What would you tell someone who has never attended the event?

"Our running event is for charity and we believe our event encompasses these three key factors:"

HELP by raising funds for children who are unable to walk

HEALTH by showcasing our run as part of a healthy lifestyle

FUN by enjoying time together as a team and discovering the UAE on foot

"We give back to the community by helping children get back on their feet. It is an ultra marathon with a difference that touches and crosses each of the 7 emirates of the UAE."

What does the event offer that no other event does?

"7EmiratesRun is a real challenge with a difference.There is no other event where you get to see the beauty of each Emirate by foot."

How many events will there be yearly?

"1 Annually."

How many events have been held in the past?

"3 events. The event has run in the following years: 2010, 2013, 2014."

What is the expected size of the event?

"Approximately 77 people are expected to complete the last day on the occasion of UAE National Day, but many more will join for shorter legs from 10km up to 1 full days running."
