What makes this bootcamp special?

There is a limited amount of exercises in the world, but there is an unlimited amount of positive energy to add to every movement. Just like most camps, we focus on intensity, quality form and mental performance, but what makes us special is the vibe and overall ambiance of the camp. There is just an element that can't be described in words, you have to be there to feel it and see the smiles on peoples' faces and hear their laughs. To us, that's where "Special" lives.

Please give an overview of a “bootcamp session”

We start by greeting every single member and allowing them a few minutes to greet each other, this helps create a relaxed non-judgmental environment. It's very important that every single participant feels comfortable in the social setting, so they can remain focused on the exercise and doing the movements correctly with intensity. We commence with a light warm up similar to what a track athlete would do, then we go straight into abdominal work to get the core ready and engaged for the more serious movements.

We use Tabata Interval Protocol for a good portion of the session. Tabatas are intense 20 second bursts of exercise followed by 10 seconds of rest, repeated 8 times, which completes 1 Tabata. We primarily use compound body weight movements for the intervals such as squats, push-ups, lunges, dips and of course burpees.

There is always 3-5 abdominal sequences performed randomly in a session, typically taking 3 minutes per sequence.

There is usually a "Finisher" exercise at the end of the session, this helps take people to the edge mentally and makes everyone have to dig a little deeper to finish.

Light stretching ends every session, followed by a quick group chat from Jordan to close.

Our Bootcamps are an awesome way of burning excess body fat, shaping the whole body and building incredible stamina in a fun and social environment. After an initial warm-up, the trainer will take the members through a full body workout before cooling down and stretching all within one hour.
